Rick and Luigi in the rear of their ancestral family home on Via Roma, just steps away from the office.  This house is where Rick's grandmother was raised  and lived before she left for America in 1909 to join her husband Bernardino, who had emigrated to the United States in 1905 .  Rick's artist friend, Cynthia, who marbleized the columns in Rick's garden, became infatuated with the pictures of Antonia, and sensing Rick's great love for his grandmother, has visualized her as a young girl and will paint her picture for his newly remodeled kitchen.  Cynthia says the picture is completed in her mind and now simply has to be transferred to canvas.
